Flintstone Cottages are located just to the East of the Roman City of Chichester, West Sussex between Aldingbourne and the Village of Oving. This location makes Flintstone Cottages an ideal rural spot to base yourself while you visit and explore many of the local attractions: such as, Chichester Cathedral, Chichester City Walls, the award winning Chichester Festival Theatre and Pallent House Art Gallery, West Dean Gardens, with its Chilli festival, the beautiful South Downs or visit some of the wonderful local historic Towns, Midhurst, Petworth, Arundel and its Castle, and of course West Wittering Beach with it wonderful sandy beaches and Water Sports. If you wanted to go a bit further afield then a trip to the colorful City of Brighton and Hove would be well worth a visit.

For those of you who like watching a bit of action and sport then there are the annual events of horse racing at both Fontwell and Goodwood Racecourses, Polo at Cowdray Park and for motor enthusiasts of you there is, The Festival of Speed, The Revival, The Members Meeting and The Breakfast Club based only 5 miles from us at Goodwood.

Chichester offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants to satisfy everyone’s needs. If you are after a quiet country pub then again we have many to offer, such as The George Eartham, The Anglesey Arms Halnaker, The Fox Goes Free Charlton, The Royal Oak Lavant, or The Gribble Inn Oving. However if after a busy day sightseeing you just wanted to relax then you could always order an Indian delivery from The India Gate at Merston.
